The simple black dress

As a teenager and a student, typically I spend a lot of time socialising through the consumption of alcohol. It never fails to amaze me how some girls dress on a night out, and looking back through old pictures I barely have a leg to stand on. Nonetheless, seeing girls with very little on makes me question society and fashion trends of our time. Why should girls have to wear less clothing for boys to acknowledge and appreciate them? I understand that as humans we 'flaunt what we have', but for most girls this involves practically getting their boobs out. I believe that boys should wonder what's underneath our clothing, rather than have it on display for them to make a quick judgement on whether they like it or not.
If boys suddenly starting walking the streets at night in their underwear we'd all think it bizarre and judge them as being vain pricks, whilst comparing their brand of underwear and bulge size to the next guy... So why is it ok for girls to do the same?

I think we should all take a step back and look at ourselves, dress how we want us to look and not how society wants to see us.

This is me getting ready for a night out last Friday. Wearing a simple, high-neck black dress from River Island.
